The Unknown Soldier

Two came and one remain
Three all now are one
The world and all its children too
Have been rescued by the Sun

Not wanting fame
Nor fortune also
He moves around
His strength in torso

If only all could feel the love
He has for you inside
The tears would flow and love would come
To help you into line

A magic line it has been called
And yes it is quite true
That the one you seek and look for guidance
Is forever now in blue

 

Prayer

As I look for Him,
He guides my way.
As I talk to Him,
He hears me as I pray.

As I see Him,
the darkness falls away.
As I feel His love,
no more I have to pray.

As I am one with Him,
He tells me what to say.
As I hear His holy voice,
I feel the truth, the light, the way.

As my heart comes back to Earth,
the clouds they're back to grey.
I realise once more I need,
to fall to knees and pray.

 

My choice

God's work
Never seems to be done
How long must I wait?
For a moment of pleasure and a little fun

Still if it were my choice alone
And God did not have His say
I would not be here in this time now
And many sheep would stray

I made a choice some time ago
To say goodbye to all
But now I see the worth of living
To help resurrect the fall

I held on then
When I saw all that life could give
And a few last lines I'll pen
So that life I can soon live

 

The acknowledgement

Each of you sings in my heart
As the music starts again
Billy, Bob and Boh
Have restored my aching frame

Too many musos to write down here
Instead I offer flower
And give you all I have inside
Pure love and all God's power

 

Fate

The day will come
When I'll blow my mind
And in my heart
Love I will find

Until that day
I wait and I wait
Secure in the knowledge
That I know my fate

That glory and bliss
Is all I will know
And to all of Mankind
This be bestowed
